All employees shall be selected without regard
to political considerations and shall not be required to contribute
to any political purpose or perform volunteer work and shall not engage
in any political activity during regular working hours.
There shall be no unlawful discrimination against
any person seeking employment or against any Borough employee because
of any considerations of political or religious affiliations or belief
or race, sex, national origin, handicap, marital status or age.
Employees shall not solicit or accept gifts
or gratuities either individually or collectively as an association
or other group.
Violation of these prohibitions shall be grounds
for severe disciplinary action or dismissal.
