There shall be a Department of Information Technology, the head
of which shall be the Information Technology Director. He/she shall
be appointed by the Township Manager and shall be responsible for:
A.
The planning
and administration of overall computer service requirements for the
Township's computer network and/or personal computer systems utilizing
generic or department-specific software.
B.
The planning,
coordination and direction of the work-designated support staff assisting
with departmental computer efforts.
C.
Serving
as the Department's focal point for systems development, software
acquisition and overall development, maintenance and operation of
the local- and wide-area networks (LAN/WAN).
