Whereas, the Millville Planning Board conducted a public
hearing on April 14, 2003, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-6 to determine whether
a proposed area known as The Airport Redevelopment Area with the following
boundaries is an area in need of redevelopment pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-5:
(1)Â
On the north: the boundary line of the existing residential
development adjacent to the existing Airport Industrial Park.
(2)Â
On the south: the southerly boundary of City-owned lands
bordered by the State Wildlife Management Area.
(3)Â
On the east: the eastern boundary of the lands owned
by George F. Pettinos, Inc. now George F. Pettinos, LLC.
(4)Â
On the west: the nonresidential properties located within
the boundary of Hogbin Road.
B.Â
Whereas, the Millville Planning Board adopted Resolution
No. 03-16-01 on April 14, 2003, recommending that the study area should be
designated by the governing body of the City to be an area in need of redevelopment
and therefore a redevelopment area; and
C.Â
Whereas, the governing body of the City adopted Resolution
No. A-4359 on June 17, 2003, designating The Airport Redevelopment Area with
the following boundaries pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-6 and directing the
Millville Planning Board to prepare a redevelopment plan pursuant to N.J.S.A.
40A:12A-7:
(1)Â
On the north: the boundary line of the existing Airport
Industrial Park.
(2)Â
On the south: the southern boundary of City-owned lands
bordered by the State Wildlife Management Area.
(3)Â
On the east: the eastern boundary shall be Dividing Creek
Road.
(4)Â
On the west: the nonresidential properties located within
the boundary of Hogbin Road.

Whereas, the Redevelopment Plan for the Airport Redevelopment
Area dated July 24, 2003, prepared by The Atlantic Group and Greenbaum, Rowe,
Smith, Ravin, Davis & Himmel, LLP in conjunction with Donald S. Ayres,
Director of Economic Development, and Dr. Kimberly Warker, Director of Planning,
has been presented to the Millville Planning Board; and

Whereas, the Millville Planning Board pursuant to N.J.S.A.
40A:12A-7 has reviewed the plan, has received comments on the plan from its
planning consultant, Clark, Caton and Hintz, its planning staff, its board
members and the public on September 8, 2003; and
F.Â
Whereas, the governing body of the City has given due
consideration to the proposed plan and the recommendations made by the Millville
Planning Board as set forth in Resolution No. 03-39 adopted September 8, 2003.
The Redevelopment Plan for The Airport Redevelopment Area, dated July
24, 2003, is hereby adopted.
The Zoning District for The Airport Redevelopment Area shall not be
modified by the adoption of the Redevelopment Plan for The Airport Redevelopment
Area.
