The purpose of this article is to ensure that the skate park is used in a safe and courteous manner so that all residents and users of the skate park may enjoy this form of recreation and that uncivil and unruly conduct is prohibited.
The skate park will be open to the public and no fees will be collected for access.

Skating in the Robbinsville Township skate park is limited to the operation of skateboards, scooters, and in-line skates. The term "skaters" shall include in-line skate users, scooter users, and skateboard users.
The following provisions shall apply to the Robbinsville Township skate park:
A. 
All skaters must wear helmets and knee, wrist and elbow pads while using the skate park. All equipment must be securely fastened and worn per manufacturer's specifications.
B. 
Skaters must be at least seven years of age or older to use the skate park.
C. 
All users must skate responsibly, exercising common sense and courtesy to other users.
D. 
Only skateboards, scooters, and in-line skates are permitted in the park. Bicycles and motorized vehicles are not permitted in the skate park at any time.

E. 
No skating is permitted when surfaces or equipment is wet, icy or snow covered, or whenever the Recreation Division deems that unsafe conditions exist.
F. 
Skaters under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult at the skate park.
G. 
Spectators are not permitted in the skate park.
H. 
No glass, food or beverages are permitted in the skate park.
I. 
Drugs, smoking, alcohol, profanity, vandalism, recklessness and/or disruptive behavior in the skate park area are strictly prohibited and shall result in immediate expulsion from the skate park.
J. 
Gear, clothing and personal items must be stored outside of the skate park. The Township of Robbinsville is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
K. 
The use of personal ramps, jumps, boxes, bars or any other equipment, other than that which is provided by the Township of Robbinsville, is strictly prohibited.
L. 
No music is permitted in the skate park area.
M. 
Skateboarding is prohibited in all other areas of the Municipal Complex, exclusive of the skate park.
N. 
Any persons using the skate park must abide by all directions, commands or orders of any police officer or other Township official.
In addition to the foregoing skate park rules, the Recreation Division of the Township of Robbinsville may promulgate such other rules, regulations and procedures which are not inconsistent with this article as it deems just and proper for the safe and efficient operation of the skate park. All skate park rules shall be posted at the skate park entrance.
Any person violating or failing to comply with any of the provisions of this article, or any of the rules and regulations established pursuant hereto, shall be immediately ejected from the skate park and be subject to a fine of $25 for the first offense and/or expulsion from the skate park for at least 30 days but for no more than 90 days; a fine of $75 for the second offense and/or expulsion from the skate park for least 60 days but no more than 180 days; and a fine of $200 for a third offense and/or expulsion from the skate park for at least 120 days but no more than one year. Any further offenses shall have the same penalty as a third offense. Fines, community service and/or other appropriate remedies may be assessed at the discretion of the Municipal Court Judge.
