Article I Foreman of Department of Public Works

§ 23-1 Position created; appointment.

There is hereby created the position of Foreman of the Department of Public Works, who shall be appointed in accordance with the provisions of the Saddle Brook Administrative Code and the provisions of Mayor-Council Plan B of the Faulkner Act relating to the form of government in the Township of Saddle Brook.

§ 23-2 Term of office; duties.

The Foreman of the Department of Public Works shall be appointed for a specific term to be set forth in the appointing communication, and said Foreman shall perform the duties assigned to him by his immediate supervisor, the Superintendent of Public Works or the Acting Superintendent of Public Works, or any other supervisor such as the Mayor of the Township of Saddle Brook.

§ 23-3 Compensation.

The Foreman of the Department of Public Works shall receive a salary as set forth in an annual Salary Ordinance to be adopted by the Township Council.[1]
