The President of the Board of Commissioners of the Township of Cheltenham shall receive as additional compensation an amount equal to 10% of the annual salary fixed for Commissioners.

The compensation of all Township Commissioners of the Township of Cheltenham whose terms commence on or after January 2, 2004, shall consist of the salary of $6,000 per annum and insurance and retirement benefits as provided by the Township Management Group; provided, however, that no Township Commissioner elected or appointed for the first time after December 31, 2014, shall be provided with (nor shall any family member be provided with) any health-care insurance benefits while serving as a Township Commissioner, nor shall such person be provided with (nor shall any family member be provided with) any postservice or postretirement health-care insurance benefits.
