A.
By license, boxing matches by amateurs may be held within
the Township of Cheltenham under the supervision of fraternal or other organizations
not operating for profit, provided that the same are held and conducted under
the rules and regulations of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission; and
provided further that all contestants are, immediately prior to the contest,
examined as to physical fitness by a competent physician and that all such
contests be presided over and be under the supervision and control of a referee
appointed by the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission.
Except as provided above, for the preservation of peace and good order
within the township, prize fights, boxing matches, exhibitions or contests
are hereby declared to be unlawful within the Township of Cheltenham.

Any person or legal entity violating the provisions of this chapter
shall, upon summary conviction before a District Justice, pay a fine of not
more than six hundred dollars ($600.), together with costs of suit, collectible
in the manner provided by law. Each violation after notice of an offense or
service of a summons shall constitute a distinct and separate offense.
