It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to destroy, deface, damage, remove or in any way interfere with any streetlight or fixture on any of the streets, avenues, alleys or lanes of the Borough of Downingtown or to light or extinguish any light or in any way interfere with the same or to interfere with or hinder any authorized person having charge thereof in any manner whatever in the discharge of his duties, excepting those duly authorized or employed to attend to the same.

Any person or persons violating any of the provisions of § 207-1 shall, upon conviction thereof before any District Justice be sentenced to pay a fine not in excess of $600 and costs of prosecution, for each offense, and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, to imprisonment in the county jail for not more than 30 days.
