No person shall throw or deposit or cause to be thrown or deposited any dirt, filth, waste, paper, plastic, metal cans, glass or plastic containers, cardboard or paper containers, building material and/or any other forms of trash or garbage or discarded substances of a solid nature in or upon any public place whatsoever within the Village of Round Lake, except in an area designated as a Village dumping area open to the public at large or residents of the Village.

A violation of this chapter shall constitute an offense punishable by a fine of $250 or by imprisonment in jail for 10 days, or both such fine and imprisonment, for the first offense; by a fine of $500 or by imprisonment in jail for 30 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment, for a second offense; and by a fine of $750 or by imprisonment for 30 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment, for any subsequent offenses. Full restitution for all cleanup costs shall be required for all violations of § 125-1.
