Any violation of this chapter shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed $100 for each offense.
Anyone to whom a license is issued in accordance with this chapter shall be allowed to place a sign advertising the yard sale on the premises in question. Such sign shall be no larger than 18 inches by 24 inches. The sign shall not be placed on the premises earlier than seven days prior to the date scheduled for the yard sale and must be removed at the conclusion thereof.

A yard sale for which a license is issued under this chapter shall be limited to the hours between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on the date for which the license is issued.
Any Town resident desiring to conduct a yard sale shall apply to the Town Clerk for a license for the yard sale.
The applicant for a yard sale license shall state his name and residence, together with the date and location of the intended yard sale.
The Town Clerk shall issue a yard sale license to a resident applying under this chapter, and the resident shall pay to the Town Clerk a fee as provided in Chapter 122, Fees, of the Code of the Town of Coventry; provided, however, that no more than two such licenses shall be issued in any one calendar year to any one resident or for any one location.
