Whenever any words and phrases are used in this chapter, the meanings respectively ascribed to them in Subtitle 1 of Title 39 of the Revised Statutes of New Jersey shall be deemed to apply to such words and phrases used herein.
No person shall park a vehicle on any day in the Cranbury Township Municipal Parking Lot between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. Said Municipal Parking Lot is more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point in the northwesterly line of Main Street, distant 37.79 feet northeasterly from the intersection of the said line of Main Street with the prolongation of the southwesterly line of Park Place, said beginning point being the southeasterly corner to lands now of Thornton S. Field, Jr.; and running thence along the lands of said Field and along lands now of Victor Kozinski, North 50° 52 06 West, a distance of 227.56 feet to a point; thence still along lands of said Kozinski, North 29°27 East, a distance of 22.46 feet more or less to a point in the lands now of Edward Dietrick, North 60°33 West, a distance of 120.00 feet to a point; thence still along lands of said Dietrick, South 29°27 West, a distance of 49.00 feet to a point; thence South 60°33 East, a distance of 104.00 feet to a point; thence South 30°33 East, a distance of 18.48 feet to a point; thence South 29°27 West, a distance of 97.74 feet more or less to a point in the line of lands now of the Cranbury Township Board of Education; thence along lands of said Board of Education, and lands now of Ira T. Wender, South 58°58 East a distance of 93.50 feet to a point in the line of lands now of Cranbury Pharmacy, Inc.; thence along lands of said Cranbury Pharmacy, Inc., North 32°1950 East, a distance of 75.03 feet to a point; thence still along lands of said Cranbury Pharmacy, Inc., South 59°5206 East, a distance of 129.02 feet to a point in the northwesterly line of Main Street; thence along the northwesterly line of Main Street, North 30°40 East, a distance of 60.00 feet to the point and place of beginning.
Before this chapter shall become effective, the proper municipal officials shall cause to be erected at or upon the afore-described parking lot premises a sign or signs setting forth the hours during which such parking is prohibited.
Unless another penalty is expressly provided by the statutes of New Jersey, every person convicted of a violation of the provisions of this chapter or any supplement thereto shall be liable to a penalty of not more than $50 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 15 days, or both.
