A. 
No person shall enter or park a motor vehicle, as defined by N.J.S.A. 39:1-1 et seq. (New Jersey Motor Vehicle and Traffic Regulations), in Municipal Parking Lot Nos. 1, 2, 3 or 4, during the bathing season as established in § 7-9B, unless said motor vehicle shall bear a sticker of the current year issued by the municipality. Each motor vehicle shall bear a separate sticker which shall be permanently affixed to the driver's side rear window. A vehicle which has no driver's side rear window shall have the sticker permanently affixed to the left side of the vehicle body. A fee of $10 shall be charged for each sticker issuance.

The governing body may authorize, by resolution, the dates and times, during certain Lavallette sponsored events, upon which it shall not be a violation of this section to enter or park a motor vehicle within Municipal Parking Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4 without a sticker issued by the municipality.
B. 
No person shall enter or park a motor-drawn vehicle or trailer, as defined by N.J.S.A. 39:1-1 et seq. (New Jersey Motor Vehicle and Traffic Regulations), in Municipal Parking Lot Nos. 1, 2, 3 or 4, during the bathing season as established in § 7-9B, unless said motor-drawn vehicle or trailer shall bear a sticker of the current year issued by the municipality. Each motor-drawn vehicle or trailer shall bear a separate sticker. The municipal parking lot sticker shall be permanently affixed to the driver’s side rear window. The motor-drawn vehicle or trailer on which the sticker is displayed shall also be entitled to use the municipal boat ramp. The charge for each sticker shall be:

(1) 
Fifty dollars for private motor-drawn vehicles or trailers, provided that in the event such sticker is purchased during the period of time designated by resolution of the governing body, said charge shall be $25.
(2) 
One hundred dollars for motor-drawn vehicles or trailers utilized by marina/commercial operators.
C. 
The governing body may authorize, by resolution, the dates and times, during certain Lavallette sponsored events, upon which it shall not be a violation of this section to enter or park a motor vehicle within Municipal Parking Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4 without a sticker issued by the municipality.
D. 
No motor vehicle, motor-drawn vehicle or trailer may enter or park in any municipal parking lot at any time between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 5:00 a.m. of any day, except that such vehicles and trailers may remain in Parking Lot No. 1, as designated in § 89-11, except between 4:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. of any day.
E. 
Whenever snow has fallen and the accumulation is such that it covers the street or highway, such that the provisions of § 89-6.2 apply, in order to ensure that no vehicle is parked during a snow emergency on any street, road or highway within the corporate limits of the Borough, vehicles may be parked in Municipal Parking Lots No. 1 and 3, as designated in § 89-11 until 48 hours after the snow has ceased falling and the streets have been plowed sufficiently to allow the normal flow of traffic. The Borough shall provide, to the extent practicable in light of weather conditions, for entrance and egress to said municipal parking lot during and following the snow emergency. The Borough shall be under no obligation to plow the municipal lot so as to facilitate removal of a parked vehicle. Individuals parking vehicles in said municipal lot during the snow emergency shall be solely responsible for removing the parked vehicles within 48 hours after the streets have been plowed sufficiently to allow the normal flow of traffic.
F. 
A vendor holding a license issued under Chapter 47, Peddling and Soliciting, may obtain a parking sticker pursuant to Subsection A above. This parking sticker shall permit such vendor to park and sell food and beverages in Municipal Parking Lot Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4 under the following conditions:
(1) 
Not more than one vendor shall park in one of the municipal parking lots at any time.
(2) 
No vendor shall park a vehicle in any of municipal parking lots for a period in excess of 15 minutes.
The municipal parking lots of the Borough of Lavallette are those areas hereby designated and defined as follows:
A. 
Parking Lot No. 1: President Avenue and Bay Boulevard.
B. 
Parking Lot No. 2: Vance Avenue and Bay Boulevard.
C. 
Parking Lot No. 3: Washington Avenue and Bay Boulevard.
D. 
Parking Lot No. 4: Brooklyn Avenue and Bay Boulevard.
