The Township shall hereafter impose a fee of
$38 against individuals who issue a check payable to the Township
of Middle, which check is subsequently dishonored by the individual's
bank for insufficient funds or any other cause.
The Township Tax Collector shall deduct said
fee from any payment made for payment of taxes and shall apply the
balance of said payment against the outstanding tax arrearage.
Any township official receiving any payment
from any person violating this chapter shall deduct the fee from such
payment and shall apply the balance of said payment, if any, to its
original purpose.
