The Township shall have the right to inspect upon two weeks' written
notice at any time during normal business hours at the system office, all
books, receipts, maps, plans, financial statements, contracts, service complaint
logs, performance test results, records of requests for service and other
like material of grantee which are reasonably necessary to monitor compliance
and terms of this franchise. Grantee shall first be given two weeks' written
notice for inspection request, the description of, and purpose for the inspection
and description, to the best of the Township's ability, of the books, records,
documents, and equipment it wants to inspect.
Grantee shall provide to the Township, on a semiannual basis, a summary
of all petitions, applications, communications, and reports submitted by grantee
on or on behalf of or relating to the grantee to the FCC. Copies of such documents
shall be made available to the general public by grantee upon request.
Grantee shall maintain with the Township a current map or set of maps
drawn to scale an showing the system and all equipment installed or in place
in streets and other public places as required by this chapter.
