Traffic control signals shall be installed and operated at the intersection of those streets described in Schedule I (§ 460-50), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
The maximum speed at which vehicles may proceed on or along any streets or highways within the Town is hereby established at 30 miles per hour, except that the speed limit for vehicles proceeding on or along those streets or parts of streets described in Schedule II (§ 460-51), attached to and made a part of this chapter, shall be as indicated in said schedule.
No person shall drive a vehicle at a speed in excess of that indicated in Schedule III (§ 460-52), attached to and made a part of this chapter, in the areas described in said Schedule III, during school days between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
A. 
The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule IV (§ 460-53), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as one-way streets in the direction indicated.
B. 
All parking on one-way streets hereinbefore designated shall be on the right-hand side of the street only, as determined by the direction in which traffic is permitted.
No person shall make a U-turn on any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule V (§ 460-54), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall make a turn of the kind designated (left, right, all) at any of the locations described in Schedule VI (§ 460-55), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall make a right turn when facing a steady red signal (stop indication) at any of the locations described in Schedule VII (§ 460-56), attached to and made a part of this chapter.

No person shall maneuver his or her vehicle between the hours listed so as to make other than a right turn at any of the locations described in Schedule VIIA (§ 460-56.1), attached to and made part of this chapter.
The intersections described in Schedule VIII (§ 460-57), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as stop intersections. Stop signs shall be installed as provided therein.
The intersections described in Schedule IX (§ 460-58), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as yield intersections. Yield signs shall be installed as provided therein.

A. 
Commercial vehicles are hereby prohibited from parking on any streets or roadways between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. and, moreover, prohibited from traveling the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule X (§ 460-59), attached to and made a part of this chapter, except for the pickup and delivery of materials on such streets. A "commercial vehicle" is defined as any vehicle which:
(1) 
Exceeds 6,000 pounds in weight;
(2) 
Exceeds 20 feet in length;
(3) 
Exceeds eight feet in width;
(4) 
Displays a livery or taxi license;
(5) 
Displays advertising promoting a business; or
(6) 
Carries tools, supplies or equipment visible from outside the vehicle.
B. 
In accordance with the provisions of § 460-13A, no person shall park a commercial vehicle (as outlined in § 460-13A) upon any state roads maintained by the state.

No person shall operate a tractor with a trailer or trailers attached, which trailer or trailers exceed a combined length of 40 feet, on any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XA (§ 460-59.1).

Except as expressly permitted by the United States or the New York State Department of Transportation, and except where the requirement for local delivery will permit no alternate legal route, no person shall operate or move or cause or knowingly permit to be operated or moved on any local public road in the unincorporated area of the Town of Greenburgh any vehicle or combination of vehicles of a size or weight exceeding the maximum gross weight, width, height, and length specified by the manufacturer of the vehicle.

A. 
Notwithstanding any other penalty section in this chapter, the violation of the provisions of § 460-13A(2) through (6) and B of this chapter shall be punishable by a fine of not less than $200 nor more than $500 or by imprisonment for not more than 30 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment, for the first offense; by a fine of not less than $500 nor more than $1,000 or by imprisonment for not more than 60 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment, for the second or subsequent offense.
B. 
Violation of the provisions of § 460-13A(1) or § 460-13.2 of this chapter shall be punishable by fines levied on the operator of the vehicle or the registered owner of the vehicle, whether at the time of the violation the vehicle was in the charge of the registered owner or his agent or lessee, in accordance with the following schedule:

(NOTE: Where the excess weight is greater than 10% in excess of the limits specified by a permit issued by the United States or New York State Department of Transportation, the permit shall, for the purposes of computing the fine, be deemed void, and the amount of the fine shall be determined in accordance with the maximum weight which would have been in effect for the operation of such vehicle if the permit to exceed such maximum weight had not been issued.)
