In accordance with § 239-u of Article 12-E of the General
Municipal Law of the State of New York, on this date of July 3, 1972, the
Village Board of the Village of East Rockaway hereby creates the Village of
East Rockaway Drug Abuse Prevention Council.

This Drug Abuse Prevention Council is hereby created for the purposes
and to accomplish the ends that are set forth in Article 12-E, § 239,
of the General Municipal Law of this state.

Such Council shall consist of not less than three nor more than seven
members who shall be appointed by the Village Board for a term not exceeding
three years and may include at least one member of the clergy, one attorney
and one physician.
