Editor's Note: The provisions of this local law were subject
to permissive referendum. Since no petition for referendum was filed, this
local law passed.
The Police Department of the Incorporated Village of Woodsburgh be and
the same hereby is dissolved, subject to the requirements of the Civil Service
Law, the Village Law and all other applicable statutes.
The Mayor and Board of Trustees shall take such steps as they deem appropriate
and necessary to contract for police and/or other patrol services within the
village, effective immediately upon the effective date of this chapter.
