[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the Township of Skippack 9-9-1987 by Ord. No. 136. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The owner and/or manager of every rental unit and multifamily dwelling situate in the Township of Skippack, which is or contains one or more rental units, shall supply the township, on forms supplied by the township, the name and address and, if available, the occupation, employer and social security number of each and every occupant of each and every such rental unit and multifamily dwelling.
The information required pursuant to provisions of ยงย 147-1 hereof shall initially be provided to Skippack Township by November 30, 1987. Thereafter, the owner and/or manager shall update said declarations and file the same with the Township Secretary not less than semiannually and no later than June 30 and December 31 of each year. In addition, the owner and/or manager shall provide the information set forth in ยงย 147-1 hereof to the township within 30 days after a new occupant enters into use of the rental unit and/or multifamily dwelling.
The Township Secretary is hereby authorized to establish the form of said declaration and cause the same to be printed.
Any person who violates or permits a violation of this chapter, upon being found liable therefor in a civil enforcement proceeding, shall pay a fine of not more than $600, plus all court costs, including reasonable attorney's fees, incurred by the township in the enforcement of this chapter. No judgment shall be imposed until the date of the determination of the violation by the District Justice and/or Court. If the defendant neither pays nor timely appeals the judgment, the township may enforce the judgment pursuant to the applicable rules of civil procedure. Each day a violation exists shall constitute a separate offense. Further, the appropriate officers or agents of the township are hereby authorized to seek equitable relief, including injunction, to enforce compliance herewith.
