Further, in the interest of promoting and protecting the public health, safety and welfare of the residents of the Borough of Baldwin, and for the purpose of regulating the fabrication, erection, construction, enlargement, alteration and repair of detached one- and two-family dwellings situate within the Borough, the Borough of Baldwin does by this chapter ordain and adopt the One- and Two-Family Dwelling Code of the Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc., known and designated as "CABO (1995 Edition)," modifying the same, however, and amending it in the following respects:
A. 
All sections of said code which relate to the code official or other officer shall be construed so as to mean the Code Enforcement Officer of the Borough of Baldwin; all provisions of the same relating to appeals and all other administrative sections of the CABO shall be construed in keeping with the provisions of §§ 74-2, 74-3 and 74-4 of this chapter, and all succeeding sections shall be applicable thereto likewise.
B. 
The table set out in Section R-301.2a, which appears as a part of Section R-301.2a, Design Criteria, is hereby amended to reflect the following:
(1) 
Roof snow load: 20 pounds per square foot.
(2) 
Wind velocity: 70 miles per hour.
(3) 
Seismic condition: Zone O.
(4) 
Weathering: severe.
(5) 
Frost line depth: 36 inches.
(6) 
Subject to damages from termites: moderate to heavy.
(7) 
Subject to damage from decay: slight to moderate.
