As used in this chapter, the following terms
shall have the meanings indicated:
Includes an individual, society, club, firm, partnership,
corporation or association of persons, and the singular number shall
include the plural number.

Any person who intrudes or trespasses upon any
lot, piece of land or body of water without authority from the owner
thereof or who erects or occupies thereon any building or structures
whatever without such authority and any person who builds, erects
or occupies, within the bounds of any street or avenue or public property,
any structure or building without lawful authority shall be guilty
of an offense punishable by a fine of not exceeding $250 or imprisonment
for not more than 15 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
