The Queen Anne's County Department of Planning
and Zoning may not issue a grading or building permit for any lot
or parcel until the Soil Conservation Service has reviewed and approved
an erosion and sediment control plan for the site.
In issuing a grading permit, the Queen Anne's County Department of Planning and Zoning may impose any conditions on the permit as may be considered necessary to ensure compliance with the provisions of this Chapter
14:2 or the preservation of the public health and safety.
When considered necessary by the Queen Anne's
County Department of Planning and Zoning, a developer shall furnish
a surety or cash bond, irrevocable letter of credit, or other means
of security acceptable to the Queen Anne's County Department of Planning
and Zoning.
The Queen Anne's County Department of Planning
and Zoning may suspend or revoke any grading or building permit after
providing written notification to the permit holder based on any of
the following reasons:
A. Any violation of the terms or conditions of the approved
erosion and sediment control plan or permit;
B. Noncompliance with a violation notice or stop-work
order;
C. Changes in site characteristics on which plan approval
and permit issuance was based; or
D. Any violation of this Chapter
14:2 or any rules and regulations adopted under it.
