[HISTORY: Adopted by the City Council of the City of Roseville 2-28-1984 by Ord. No. 895 as Ch. 183 of the 1984 Code. Amendments noted where applicable.]
No person who is engaged in the activity of delivering on a regular, recurrent or repetitive basis any materials, goods or services to the owner or occupant of any residential property in the city, including readers of gas, water, electric or other utility metering devices, letter carriers, route deliverymen, mailmen or newspaper delivery persons, shall enter upon and walk over or trample upon the lawn of said property, including the grass, sod, flowers or shrubs thereon, or otherwise cross said lawn, except upon a sidewalk, driveway, porch, step or other area designated as a pathway, after having been forbidden to do so by the owner or occupant, the agent or servant of either; provided, however, that where such person cannot otherwise deliver such materials or goods and services except by walking upon the lawn as aforesaid, then this section shall not apply.
Any person or entity violating the provisions of this chapter shall be, upon conviction thereof, punished as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article I.
