A. 
Every citizen of the state, during the regular business hours maintained by the custodian of any record sought, shall have the right to inspect any public record pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq. Every citizen of this state shall also have the right, during regular business hours and under the supervision of a representative of the custodian, to copy the records by hand and shall also have the right to purchase copies of such records upon payment of the fees set forth in Subsection B below.
B. 
Any person seeking the reproduction of public records, documents, or other information pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq., shall submit his request in writing on a form prescribed by the Township Clerk. All such requests will be handled in accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq.

A. 
The fee for the duplication of a government record embodied in the form of printed matter shall be $0.05 per letter-sized page or smaller, and $0.07 per legal size or larger. If the Township can demonstrate that its actual cost for duplication of a government record exceeds the foregoing rates, it may elect to charge the actual cost of duplicating the record in accordance with the method for determining actual cost prescribed in N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5. Access to electronic records and nonprinted materials shall be provided free of charge, but the Township may charge for the actual costs of any needed supplies such as computer discs.
B. 
The charge for the Master Plan shall be $60.
C. 
The charge for the Zoning Map, Road Map or any other engineering plan 24 inches by 36 inches or larger shall be $3 per sheet.
D. 
Where a bank, mortgage company, or servicing agency requests duplicate tax bills, there shall be a charge of $5 for the first duplicate and $25 for each subsequent duplicate tax bill.
E. 
A duplicate copy of tax sale certificate shall be $100.
F. 
There shall be a fee charged in the amount of $25 for a certificate or redemption issued by the Burlington Township Tax Office to remove a lien held against a property when the original certificate cannot be located.
G. 
In an effort to more fairly assign greater fiscal responsibility to delinquent taxpayers, the Township of Burlington wishes to charge $25 per notice for the creation, printing and mailing of said notice, which will be assessed specifically to the delinquent accounts that are causing the need for a tax sale and not to the general tax base.
H. 
Special service charges. In the event that the nature, format, manner of collation, or volume of a government record embodied in the form of printed matter to be inspected, examined or copied pursuant to this chapter and/or N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq. is such that the record cannot be reproduced by ordinary document-copying equipment in ordinary business size or involves an extraordinary expenditure of time and effort to accommodate the request, Burlington Township shall charge, in addition to the actual cost of duplicating the record, a special service charge for any clerical or supervisory time required. In such cases extraordinary expenditures shall be charged a rate of $25 to $30 per hour, depending upon the specific individual who is delegated the responsibility for that work. Administrative time/nonclerical time involved in such extraordinary expenditure shall be charged at the actual salary rate, depending upon the specific individual who is charged with the responsibility for that work. These calculations are based upon the salary, pension, health, social security payments and other benefits that are paid on behalf of the aforementioned individuals by Burlington Township. The Township Clerk shall notify the requestor of the imposition of a special service charge prior to undertaking the response to the request pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq.
Where a party seeks copies of documents to be sent by mail, in addition to the fees set forth in § 20-70 above, a five-dollar-per-document service charge shall be collected by the custodian.

The fee for certified copies of vital statistic records and other documents and certifications shall be $20 for the first copy and $10 for each additional copy.
