An employee who is injured in the performance
of his duties shall immediately report the accident to his supervisor,
who shall complete a form provided for such reports. The completed
accident report form shall then be submitted to the Office of Payroll
and Personnel.
The Office of Payroll and Personnel shall maintain
adequate personnel records for each employee of the Township. Such
records should include dates of appointments and promotions, job titles,
salaries, commendations, disciplinary actions, leave of any type taken
and accumulated, merit ratings and the like.
All permanent vacancies or new jobs shall be
posted on all bulletin boards for five working days.
A. If the job opening is promotional, present permanent
full-time employees will be given preference of the job in accordance
with civil service rules and regulations and this chapter.
B. With permission of the department head and in conformity
to this chapter, present permanent full-time employees shall be allowed
to transfer to different sections of a department even if the classification
is the same, provided they have a just reason for such a transfer
and a vacancy exists.
