It shall be unlawful to discharge any rifle,
gun, pistol or firearm of any sort, or any air gun, sling shot, bow
or cross bow or any other missile projecting device or contrivance
within the Borough of Eatontown except as duly authorized by applicable
law and the Borough Code.
It shall be unlawful for any person to carry
any rifle, gun, pistol or firearm of any sort, or any air gun, sling
shot, bow or cross bow or any missile projecting device or contrivance
on the streets or public rights-of-way in any residential or business
section of the Borough of Eatontown, except as otherwise authorized
by authority of any governmental agency.
Any person or persons violating this chapter
shall be subject to and pay a fine of not more than $1,000 or be imprisoned
in the county jail for not more than 90 days, or both.
