No person shall construct, maintain or operate a miniature golf course unless the person first obtains from the Township Council a license for that purpose. This chapter shall not apply to miniature golf courses or putting greens which may be constructed by private persons upon their own property for their own and their family's individual use.
A license fee of $50 shall be paid for each miniature golf course having 18 holes or fewer.
No miniature golf course shall be open to the public or members thereof in any licensed premises between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be punishable by a fine not exceeding $1,000; imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days; and/or a period of community service not exceeding 90 days.
