The Board of Trustees deems it necessary and desirable for the protection
of the safety, health, comfort and general welfare of the inhabitants of said
village to authorize the establishment of a village medical center.
In accordance with § 4-412 (1) of the Village Law, there is
hereby created and established a village medical center. The Trustees of said
village are authorized to acquire the necessary lands therefor by purchase,
lease, gift or condemnation and to acquire, construct or reconstruct and equip
a suitable building therefor and to repair, operate and maintain such medical
center.
The Trustees of said village may appropriate and expend funds of said
village and authorize the issuance of obligations of said village in connection
therewith, subject to applicable statutes, including the Local Finance Law.
