[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees
of the Village of Rockville Centre 2-22-1971 by L.L. No. 1-1971 as
Ch. 41 of the 1971 Code. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The Village Board of Trustees may, from time
to time, appoint one or more dog control officers to assist within
the Village with the control of dogs and enforcement of the Village’s
dog licensing laws. The persons so appointed may ascertain by due
inquiry the names of owners of dogs kept or harbored in such Village.

Except as herein modified, the provisions of
said Section 108 of the Agriculture and Markets Law shall remain in
full force and effect with respect to the preparation of a list of
the persons in the Village of Rockville Centre owning and harboring
dogs.
