In the event of the shutdown of a sprinkler system for any reason whatever, the Bureau of Fire Prevention and the Superintendent of Buildings shall be notified as to the duration of the shutdown; and the owner or occupant shall take such steps as may be required by the Bureau of Fire Prevention or Superintendent of Buildings in protecting the property during the period of such shutdown.
Any alterations to the approved sprinkler system must be reported to the Bureau of Fire Prevention and the Superintendent of Buildings, and plans must be submitted prior to the installation of a new, improved sprinkler system or prior to the modification of any existing sprinkler system.
