[Adopted 2-22-1971 by L.L. No. 1-1971 as Ch. 92, Art. II, of the 1971 Code]
It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to loiter in any public park, alley or lane owned and maintained by the Village of Rockville Centre, or to sleep therein, or to sit or lie on the ground therein in such a manner as to become obnoxious or annoying or molesting to those lawfully in said park, alley or lane, or to act in such a manner as to be offensive to others, or in such a manner as to offend public decency, or refuse to move when so directed by a police officer.
The drinking of alcoholic beverages in any public park, alley or lane owned and maintained by the Village of Rockville Centre is hereby prohibited.
The eating of lunches or any other foodstuffs or the consumption of soft drinks in any public park, alley or lane owned and maintained by the Village of Rockville Centre is hereby prohibited, except that such lunches, foodstuffs and soft drinks may be consumed in such areas as are designated for that purpose. The Police Department is hereby authorized to designate such areas and have such areas properly marked.

It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to enter in or be present in or be upon any public park owned or maintained by the Village of Rockville Centre:
A. 
Between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m.
B. 
In violation of the hours during which any such park is closed to the public, which closing hours shall be determined by resolution passed from time to time by the Board of Trustees or which closing hours are set by the Director of Recreation pursuant to a delegation of such power. Such closing hours shall be conspicuously posted in any park affected.
