The Village Manager is hereby authorized to establish and to designate and shall thereafter maintain, or cause to be maintained, by appropriate devices, marks or lines upon the surface of the roadway, crosswalks at intersections where in his opinion there is particular danger to pedestrians crossing the roadway, and at such other places as he may deem necessary, in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin and the rules and regulations adopted thereunder and the provisions of this Code.

VII from “Crosswalks; Safety and Loading Zones; Lanes for Traffic; Islands of Safety; Handicapped Parking” to “Crosswalks; Lanes for Traffic; Islands of Safety; Handicapped Parking.”
The Village Manager is hereby authorized to mark, or cause to have marked, lanes for traffic on street pavements at such places as he may deem advisable, in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin and the rules and regulations adopted thereunder and the provisions of this Code.
The Village Manager is hereby authorized and empowered to erect and maintain or cause to be erected and maintained islands of safety in such places as he may deem advisable, in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin and the rules and regulations adopted thereunder and the provisions of this Code.
