Village of Superior, WI Article I Excavations

§ 350-1 Permit required.

A. No person, firm or corporation shall make an excavation in any street or alley in the Village of Superior without first making application for and receiving a permit from the Village. Such permit shall be issued by the Village Clerk-Treasurer.

B. Such application shall be made to the Village Clerk and shall contain a statement of the place and size of such proposed excavation, and the purpose therefor, and shall contain a promise that the applicant, if the application is granted and the excavation is made, will resurface to similar material.

Any person violating the provisions of this article shall be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, § 1-4, General penalty, of this Code.
