This chapter shall be known as the "Bingo Licensing Law of the Town of Woodstock."
It shall be lawful for any authorized organization, upon obtaining the required license therefor, to conduct the game of bingo within the territorial limits of the Town of Woodstock, subject to the provisions of this chapter, the provisions of Article 14-H of the General Municipal Law (known as the "Bingo Licensing Law"), and the provisions of Article 19-B of the Executive Law (known as the "Bingo Control Law").
Games of bingo on the first day of the week, commonly known as "Sunday," may be conducted pursuant to this chapter and appropriate statutes and regulations.
This chapter shall be submitted for the approval of the electors of the Town of Woodstock at the general election on November 3, 1992, and shall take effect after approval by a majority of the qualified electors of the Town of Woodstock voting thereon and upon filing with the Secretary of State of New York and with the State Racing and Wagering Board.[1]
