A. 
There shall be a Department of Public Works, the head of which shall be the Director of Public Works. The Director shall be qualified by training, experience and in accordance with the law.
B. 
The Director shall serve during the term of office of the Mayor appointing the Director and until the appointment and qualification of a successor. The Director shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council.
Within the Department of Public Works, the Department shall have the following divisions:
A. 
Division of Streets and Roads.
B. 
Division of Sewer Maintenance.
C. 
Division of Facilities and Open Space.
