Subject to the rules and regulations of the New York State Public
Offices Law § 103-a, all public board meetings within the
Village of Woodridge, including, but limited to the Village Board,
Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals as well as Commissions established
by the Village Board are authorized to conduct meetings by video conferencing
for the benefit of the public and members of the Board.
Members of the respective boards attending the meeting via video
conference can only do so under extraordinary circumstances, which
shall include: physical disability, illness, care giving responsibilities
or other significant or unexpected factors or events which precludes
the members physical attendance at such meeting.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, a quorum of a public body must
physically be present at the time and place at which the public meeting
is scheduled in order to hold an official meeting.
This article shall take effect immediately upon filing with
the Secretary of State.
