The Department of Finance of East Norriton Township is hereby authorized to retain a private agency to serve as the Tax Collector for the Township for the collection, administration and enforcement of ordinances/resolutions of the Township assessing the occupational privilege tax, the mercantile tax, the business privilege tax, the amusement tax and the earned income tax.[1]

The Township shall compensate any private agency retained pursuant hereto at such rate as shall be mutually agreeable to the Township and the private agency.

The compensation of the duly elected Tax Collector for the Township of East Norriton for the collection of real estate taxes, commencing with January 1994, shall be the sum of $5,000 per annum.

The Tax Collector is hereby authorized by the Township to collect and retain fees for the certification of real estate taxes upon property located within the Township of East Norriton. The amount of such fees shall be authorized by resolution of the Board of Supervisors of the Township of East Norriton as may be amended from time to time.
