The following rules and regulations are applicable to all East Norriton Township parks and recreation areas.
This article supersedes Ordinance 94 of the East Norriton Township Board of Supervisors dated May 8, 1973.[1]

All Township parks are open to all Township residents and guests from sunrise until sunset throughout the year, with the special exception of special events such as ballfield usage, pavilion rentals, Township sponsored special events and special permit activities as authorized by the Board of Supervisors.
Children under the age of six years old must be accompanied by an adult.
The following are prohibited:
A. 
Possession or use of alcoholic beverages or drugs which are in violation of the law.
B. 
Boisterous, immoral or indecent conduct.
C. 
Gambling.
D. 
Discarding of trash, garbage or other litter except into containers provided for that purpose.
E. 
Damaging, defacing, destroying or moving Township-owned property, trees, shrubs, signs, structures, equipment, or other material.
F. 
Parking of any vehicle except on designated areas.
G.

H. 
Fires, except in facilities provided for such purpose.
I. 
Pets, except when kept on a leash.

Swimming or throwing of any objects in the pond.

Fishing in pond or streams which violates the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania regulations concerning licensing or seasons.
L. 
Minibikes, motorcycles, go-carts, ATVs or other self-propelled vehicles other than automobiles in parking areas.
M. 
Trapping of animals.
N. 
Archery, except in specially designated areas if provided.
Any person violating any provision herein shall be guilty of a summary offense and upon conviction thereof shall be liable for a fine of not less than $25 nor more than $300 or, in default thereof, to imprisonment for not more than five days.

The following rules and regulations shall govern the use of Township-owned ballfields:
A. 
There shall be no climbing on fences or backstops.
B. 
There shall be no riding bicycles on or around the field area.
C. 
There shall be no riding bicycles on dirt piles.
D. 
The field must be completely vacated at the first sign of a thunderstorm. (No one is allowed in dugouts.)
E. 
There shall be no jumping off bleachers.
F. 
The field must be cleaned of all litter at the end of each game.
G. 
The infield must be raked after each game.
H. 
Proper adult supervision is required at the field at all times.
I. 
Improper language or behavior will not be tolerated.
J. 
Cars are to be parked on macadam only (no parking on the grass).
K. 
There shall be no alcoholic beverages permitted in the park.
L. 
In case of an accident or injury, use the red phone at the rear of the police station to call a police officer if an ambulance is needed.
M. 
All accidents or injuries at this facility must be reported to the Director of Parks and Recreation within 24 hours.
N. 
All games are to be played at the highest level of sportsmanship.
