GENERAL REFERENCES

The Auditor for the Borough of Shippensburg shall hereafter, annually,
by a resolution and before the commencement of each fiscal year, be appointed
by the Borough Council of the Borough of Shippensburg to audit the accounts
and other evidences of financial transactions of the borough and borough officers
for the fiscal year then closing, and shall submit such audit report to the
Borough Council.
The Auditor appointed by the Borough Council shall be a certified public
accountant, a firm of certified public accountants, a competent independent
public accountant or a firm of independent public accounts.
The Auditor appointed by the Borough Council shall receive such compensation
as shall be fixed by the Borough Council.
