A Veterinary Care Private Donations Fund shall
be established as follows: All donated monies collected by the animal
shelter in the City of Pawtucket shall be deposited in the Veterinary
Care Private Donations Fund.
The sole purpose of the Veterinary Care Private
Donations Fund is to provide veterinary care for the animals in the
animal shelter as well as animals in need of assistance.
The Director of Finance shall set up a Veterinary
Care Private Donations Fund to be used specifically for the purpose
described.
The Animal Control Officer is hereby authorized
to exercise control over those funds that are ultimately disbursed
by the Director of Finance.
All monies in this account shall be carried
over in the account from fiscal year to fiscal year.
The Animal Control Officer shall provide to
the Animal Control Committee a biannual report of all donated funds
and expenditures relative to the Veterinary Care Private Donations
Fund.
