The City Clerk shall perform all the duties prescribed by the statutes of the state, the provisions of this Code and other ordinances of the City.
There shall be a journal designated as the "City Council Records," in which shall be duly recorded all actions of the City Council. The journal shall be kept in the custody of the City Clerk. The City Clerk shall keep the records of the City Council. All actions of the City Council shall be entered in full upon the records. All ordinances shall be recorded in full, by the City Clerk, in a book kept by him or her for that purpose.
