[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Naples as indicated in article histories. Amendments noted where applicable.]
[Adopted 1-15-1997 by L.L. No. 1-1997]
The Village of Naples is the owner of a parcel of land of approximately five acres located in the Town of Naples and adjacent to the north boundary of the Village. This parcel is used by the Village as the site for the Village's municipal water storage tank. The Town of Naples has consented that the Village annex this parcel so that it shall become a part of the Village and thus exempt from real property taxation. The Board of Trustees of the Village has determined that the annexation of said property will substantially reduce the potential real property tax burden of the Village of Naples and is, therefore, in the best interests of the citizens of the Village.
The following described real property is hereby annexed to and made a part of the Village of Naples:
ALL THAT TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND, situate in the Town of Naples, County of Ontario and State of New York, bounded and described as follows:

Pleasant Street, at a point which is N 54° 30' W, a distance of 21.00 feet from the intersection of said center line with the west line of lands now or formerly of the Lehigh Valley Railroad; thence N 40° 00' 00" E and along the center line of an existing lane, a distance of 150.00 feet to a point; thence N 21° 45' 00" E and along the center line of an existing lane, a distance of 360.00 feet to a point; thence N 6° 15' 00" W and along the center line of an existing lane, a distance of 200.00 feet to a point; thence S 85° 15' 00" W, a distance of 150.00 feet to a point; thence N 50° 00' 00" W, a distance of 200.00 feet to a point; thence S 40° 00' 00" W, a distance of 200.00 feet to a point; thence S 50° 00' 00" E, a distance of 200.00 feet to a point; thence in an easterly direction a distance of approximately 570 feet to a point in the center line of Mt. Pleasant Street; thence in a northerly direction and along the center line of Mt. Pleasant Street, a distance of approximately 100 feet to the point and place of beginning, containing approximately five acres of land, more particularly delineated on a sketch prepared by S. Scott Stevens, Jr., PLS, on the 9th day of June, 1987.
This local law shall take effect upon its filing in the office of the Secretary of State, and the annexation of the property described in § A400-2 of this local law shall be effective upon the same date.
