In addition to the officers to be elected, there
shall be appointed a Borough Clerk, a Borough Treasurer, a Borough
Construction Official, an Assessor, a Collector and such other officers
as Council may deem necessary.
The terms of office of all appointive officers,
except for officers appointed to fill vacancies, shall commence on
January 1 of the year in which they are appointed and continue for
the terms prescribed by law.

The Tax Collector shall hold office for a term
of four years from the first day of January next following appointment.
Vacancies due to other than expiration of term shall be filled by
appointment for the unexpired term or until the earlier appointment
and qualification of a successor.
