§ 89-1 Definitions.

Unless otherwise expressly stated, the following words shall, for the purpose of this chapter, have the meanings herewith indicated:

TRANSFER

Any transaction involving the sale or lease of real property or premises located thereon or any portion thereof situated within the Borough of West Conshohocken.

TRANSFEROR

Any individual, corporation or partnership who is the grantor or lessor of any property situated within the Borough of West Conshohocken.

§ 89-2 Notice of transfers required.

All transferors of real property or of any interest in real property situate within the Borough of West Conshohocken are hereby required to notify the Borough Secretary of the Borough of West Conshohocken of all new transfers executed after the effective date of this chapter.

§ 89-3 Contents of notice.

The notification shall contain the following:

A. A statement setting forth the name and address of the transferor and the name and address of the transferee.

B. The number of persons who occupy the transferred premises.

C. When the transfer of the interest in question is by lease, a copy of that lease must be attached to the notification.

§ 89-4 Time for filing notice.

The notification containing all of the required elements must be filed with the Borough Secretary of the Borough of West Conshohocken no later than 30 days after the transfer has been made.

§ 89-5 Violations and penalties.

Any person violating the provisions of this chapter shall be subject to the provisions detailed in Chapter 53A of the Code of the Borough of West Conshohocken.
