The intent and purpose of this chapter is to prohibit the storage
and warehousing of personal property in other than permanent storage
buildings.
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the
meanings indicated:
A vehicle, open or enclosed, without motive power which may
be towed on public highways by a truck or passenger automobile, which
is designed for the transportation of goods, commodities, furniture
and animals.
A vehicle with motive power which is used on public highways
for the transportation of goods, commodities, furniture and animals.
A vehicle without motive power which may be towed on public
highways by a truck or passenger automobile, which is designed for
the transportation of goods, commodities, furniture and animals.
Unless used by any person on a regular basis for transportation
purposes in the operation of a business enterprise, no trailer, truck
or van containing goods, commodities, furniture or animals shall be
permitted to remain on any public street or highway or on any private
property within the Borough of West Conshohocken for a period in excess
of 72 hours.
No trailer, truck or van shall be permitted to remain on any
public street or highway or on any private property within the Borough
of West Conshohocken containing any goods, commodities, furniture
or animals unless said vehicle has affixed thereto a current state
inspection sticker, if required by law, together with a current license
plate and registration issued by the appropriate authorities.
This chapter shall not apply to recreational-type vehicles,
house trailers, boat trailers or mobile homes permanently erected
on approved building lots.

Any person violating the provisions of this chapter shall be subject to the provisions detailed in Chapter 53A of the Code of the Borough of West Conshohocken.
