No traveling circus, carnival, show or exhibition shall show, exhibit, or perform within the Town of Cazenovia, New York, outside of the corporate limits of the Village of Cazenovia, without obtaining from the Town Clerk of said Town a license so to do. Such license shall be required whether such show, exhibition or performance is given in the open air, under tents or in a rented hall or other building.
Application for such a license shall be accompanied by a fee as set by the Town Board at the annual reorganization meeting for each performance intended to be covered thereby.
The Town Clerk shall grant such license only after all necessary sanitary and health measures shall have been taken and/or provided for by the applicant.
Any and/or all persons taking any part in or aiding directly or indirectly in such a show, exhibition or performance not properly licensed as provided herein shall be guilty of a violation. In addition thereto the owner or owners of such circus, carnival, show or exhibition shall be liable to a penalty of not exceeding $250 or imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both, for each violation hereof.

No person, persons, firm, association or corporation shall operate and/or maintain in the Town of Cazenovia, New York, outside of the corporate limits of the Village of Cazenovia, any hall or other place where dances are conducted or held, or where dancing is permitted, whether in connection with some other use of the premises or otherwise, without first obtaining a license therefor from the Cazenovia Town Board.
The applicant shall make a written application to the Board for such license and shall submit under oath such information as the Board may by resolution require. The applicant shall, at the time of making application, pay to the Town a license fee as set by the Town Board at the annual reorganization meeting for a limited license intended to cover and authorize one such dance or occasion only or for an annual license, which fee shall be refunded to the applicant if a license is not granted. All licenses granted pursuant hereto shall expire on the first day of the succeeding January. Such license shall not be transferable.
No dance shall be conducted under such license between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, nor shall any such dance continue beyond the hour of 2:00 a.m. on any other day. No persons under the age of 16 years shall be admitted to any such dance unless accompanied by a parent, guardian or other adult member of their family.
The Town Board shall have the right to revoke any such license on the complaint of any citizen or on its own motion as provided by § 137 of the Town Law.
A violation of any of the provisions of this article shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $250 or imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both, for each offense.
