A Township Historical Commission consisting of nine adult residents of Exeter Township is hereby created and established.

The members of the Commission shall be appointed by the Supervisors of Exeter Township for terms of five years, or until their successors are appointed, except that the terms of the members first appointed shall be so determined that one member shall be appointed for one year, one for two years, one for three years, one for four years, and one for five years; and annually thereafter, a member of said Commission shall be appointed for a term of five years. All members appointed to the Commission, who are not filling the unexpired terms of any present members, shall be appointed to serve for a term ending five years from the month of May next following their appointment.
The Commission shall exercise such powers and authority as are conferred by law upon Township Historical Commissions.
