GENERAL REFERENCES
Parks and recreation areas — See Ch. 274.
There be and hereby is established a Park and
Recreation Board for the Township of Exeter, pursuant to the Act of
May 1, 1933, P.L. 103, as amended and supplemented,[1] the said Board to possess all the powers and to be subject
to all the responsibilities set forth in said Act of Assembly.

The said Board shall consist of seven members
appointed by the Board of Supervisors, two of whom shall be members
or appointees of the School Board of Exeter Township. The members
of said Board shall serve without compensation.
The members of said Board shall serve for terms
of five years, or until their successors are appointed, except that
the members of such Board first appointed shall be appointed for such
terms that the terms of not more than two members shall expire annually
thereafter.
