[HISTORY: Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Orfordville as indicated in section histories (Title 14, Ch. 3 of the 1992 Code). Amendments noted where applicable.]

A. 
Petition. A petition for annexation dated June 29, 1979, signed by Olaf Paulson and Edward J. Wellnitz was filed with the Village Clerk-Treasurer on the 23rd day of July 1979 petitioning for the annexation of certain properties then located in the Town of Plymouth, Rock County, Wisconsin, the legal description and plat of which are annexed hereto and incorporated by reference herein. After due hearing before the Village Board of the Village of Orfordville on August 23, 1979, the petition and petitioners having met all of the requirements of ordinance and statute, by ordinance duly adopted on August 23, 1979, by more than a two-thirds vote of the Village Board of the Village of Orfordville the annexation of said property was approved.
B. 
Property annexed. The property described on the exhibits incorporated by reference and on file with the Clerk-Treasurer is hereby annexed to the Village of Orfordville.
C. 
Zoning. The property as annexed to the Village of Orfordville shall be zoned R-1 Single-Family Residence District, with the exception of corner lots, corner lots being defined as lots bordered by two streets, which shall be zoned R-2 One- and Two-Family Residence District, throughout the annexed property. The preliminary plat of the annexed property is hereby adopted as a part of the Official Map of the Village of Orfordville, with the zoning designations described above to be placed upon the Official Map.

Fossum and his spouse was filed with the Village Clerk-Treasurer on the 14th day of April 2000 petitioning for the annexation of certain properties then located in the Town of Spring Valley, Rock County, Wisconsin, the legal description and annexation plat of which are annexed hereto and incorporated by reference herein. After due hearing before the Village Board of the Village of Orfordville on May 22, 2000, the petition and petitioners having met all of the requirements of the ordinances of the Village of Orfordville and state statutes, by resolution duly adopted on May 22, 2000, by more than a two-thirds vote of the Village Board of the Village of Orfordville the annexation of said property was approved.
B. 
Property annexed. The property described on the exhibits incorporated by reference herein and on file with the Clerk-Treasurer is hereby annexed to the Village of Orfordville.
C. 
Zoning. The property as annexed to the Village of Orfordville shall be zoned I-1, Light Industrial District. The annexation plat of the property in question herein is hereby adopted as a part of the Official Map of the Village of Orfordville, with the zoning designation described above to be placed upon the Official Map.

Territory annexed. In accordance with § 66.0217(2), Wis. Stats., and the petition for direct annexation filed with the Village Clerk on October 4, 2012, signed by the owner of the property proposed to be annexed, the following territory in the Town of Spring Valley, Rock County, Wisconsin, is annexed to the Village of Orfordville, Rock County, Wisconsin:
Part of the N.E. 1/4 of the S.E. 1/4 and part of the S.E. 1/4 of the S.E. 1/4 of Section 14, T.2N., R.10E., of the 4th P.M., Spring Valley Township, Rock County, Wisconsin.
Further described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of Section 14 aforesaid; thence North 0°30'08" West 926.34 feet along the East line of said S.E. 1/4; thence South 89°29'52" West 30.00 feet to the intersection of the West line of Viking Drive with the Northerly line of Genisis Drive, being also the place of beginning for this description; thence along the right-of-way line of Genisis Drive as follows: South 80°18'16" West 471.04 feet; thence South 7°02'27" East 280.00 feet to the curving Northerly right-of-way line of S.T.H. No. 11; thence Westerly along said curve to the right, 337.86 feet; having a radius of 3764.8 feet, the chord bearing South 85°31'49" West 337.75 feet; thence North 1°53'56" West 25.00 feet; thence Westerly along a curve to the right 176.38 feet, having a radius of 3739.8 feet, the chord bearing South 89°27'08" West 176.36 feet; thence North 0°30'08" West 833.95 feet; thence North 89°29'52" East 947.02 feet to the West line of said Viking Drive; thence South 0°30'08" East 482.00 feet to the place of beginning. Containing 15.00 acres.
B. 
Effect of annexation. From and after the date of this ordinance, the territory described in Subsection A shall be part of the Village of Orfordville, Rock County, Wisconsin, and for any and all purposes provided by law and all persons coming or residing within such territory shall be subject to all ordinances, rules and regulations governing the Village of Orfordville.
C. 
Zoning classification. The territory shall be designated as I-1 Light Industrial District.
D. 
Ward designation. The territory described in Subsection A of this ordinance is hereby made a part of the 1st Ward of the Village of Orfordville, subject to the ordinances, rules and regulations of the Village of Orfordville governing wards.
E. 
Department of Administration review. Prior to adoption of the ordinance it was reviewed by the Wisconsin Department of Administration which determined that the annexation is in the public interest. The MBR number is 13635.
