Any and all persons, firms, associations and/or
corporations presently receiving filtered water from the City of Cohoes,
which water is conveyed to the property of said persons outside the
City limits by means of the public water distribution system and any
laterals connected thereto, are hereby required to install and maintain
meters for measuring and registering of the use of said water; the
provisions of this article shall also apply to future users as above
defined.
Said meters shall be installed on or before
the 31st day of December 1969.
Said meters shall comply with any and all specifications,
rules and regulations established by the Common Council of the City
of Cohoes. Said meters shall be obtained from a source approved by
said Common Council.

The cost of the meters, installation, replacement,
termination of service and/or maintenance shall be borne solely by
the owners of the property served. The fees for said costs will be
set regularly by the Board of Managers.

The rates to be charged the aforementioned users,
except for the Village of Green Island, while covered by a separate
agreement, shall be the rates charged by the Common Council.
The rates and charges as aforementioned shall
be billed to said users, which said bill shall be due and payable
in the same manner and for the same terms as water rents are presently
or may hereafter be charged to water users located within the City
of Cohoes.
