Town of Cortlandville, NY Chapter 5 Assessment Review, Board of

[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Cortlandville 4-19-1972. Amendments noted where applicable.]

§ 5-1 Board established; membership; powers and duties. [1]

Effective May 1, 1972, there shall be a Board of Assessment Review of the town to consist of three members who shall have the powers and duties as set forth in § 523 of the Real Property Tax Law.

§ 5-2 Compensation. [1]

Each member of said Board of Assessment Review shall be paid by the town the amount as established by resolution of the Town Board from time to time, on a per diem basis for their respective services at the annual meeting to hear complaints and at subsequent adjourned hearings.[2]
